EPDE is a hub of expertise on emerging issues in the field of elections and election observation, working together with international experts as well as various CSOs.
Citizen observers tend to be the innovators of new skills and methods when it comes to observing and assessing increasingly complex election processes.
This is true in the field of new voting technologies, online campaign financing or when monitoring disinformation.
In the past, EPDE has worked with international experts such as:
Dame Audrey Glover (Former Director of OSCE/ODIHR), Alexander Shlyk (Former Head of the Election Department of OSCE/ODIHR), Prof. Carsten Schürmann (Principal Investigator, DemTech Project, University of Copenhagen), Harald Hartvig Jepsen (International Senior Adviser with IFES Ukraine), Tatyana Hilscher-Bogussevich (Independent Expert), Beata Martin-Rozumilowicz (Former Director for Europe and Eurasia and Technical Adviser for Technology in Elections at IFES).
