On 1 May, Adam Busuleanu, our long-standing Team Lead and Program Manager, will be leaving the European Exchange and the EPDE Secretariat team.
Adam joined the European Exchange in 2008 and has since made an invaluable contribution to the growth and direction of our work. He was instrumental in shaping the European Exchange’s election observation activities and played a central role in building EPDE from its founding in 2012.
Over the years, he conceived and developed key formats such as the annual FURIC conferences, coordinated capacity-building initiatives, led study trips to elections across the globe, and facilitated expert dialogues with high-level political stakeholders.
Beyond his programmatic work, Adam has been a bridge-builder — most notably through his efforts in fostering cooperation with key international election expert organisations, including the strategic partnership with the pan-African election observers network AfEONet, which helped extend EPDE’s impact across regions and strengthened our mission.
We want to express our gratitude to Adam for his dedication, his creativity, expertise, and the warm collegiality over so many years. We wish him all the best in his future professional journey.
