The European Platform for Democratic Elections (EPDE) and the Political Accountability Foundation (PAF) are pleased to invite you to a briefing on Poland’s upcoming 2025 presidential elections, set to take place on May 18 with a possible runoff on June 1.
As the campaign enters its final stretch, Poland faces a highly polarized political landscape shaped by generational divides, deep urban–rural differences, and a dynamic online campaigning environment. The race is drawing sharp ideological lines between conservative, centrist, and progressive camps while many candidates position themselves as unifiers amid growing societal divides.
Our experts will present key observations from recent monitoring efforts, including insights into voter sentiment, (online) campaign dynamics, and challenges to election integrity. The briefing will explore pressing questions such as: How is the disinformation landscape affecting public trust? What patterns are emerging in the campaign communication? How does the youth view the presidential election?
