The second in a series of EPDE webinars in anticipation of Moldova’s election will offer a comprehensive look at the electoral campaign, focusing on key topics such as election observation efforts, media coverage of the campaigns, instances of disinformation, and foreign interference. Mariana Focșa, an electoral analyst at Promo-LEX, will share insights from their report on the campaign period and pre- election monitoring. Aneta Gonța, Vice-President of the Audiovisual Council of Moldova, will discuss the impact of disinformation on the electoral process. Additionally, Victoria Dodon an Editor-in-Chief of the Independent Journalism Center will provide an overview of media monitoring, highlighting how disinformation has shaped the campaign.
