Georgian EPDE member The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (“ISFED”) has a new Executive Director.

After the expiration of Nino Dolidze’s term of office as defined by the organization’s charter, the organization’s board elected Levan Natroshvili as the new executive director.

Levan Natroshvili has held the position of Deputy Executive Director of ISFED since November 2022. He has 17 years of experience in civil society organizations, public service, and academia. Levan has been working on elections and good governance issues since 2012. He is a member of the OSCE/ODIHR International Expert Group on Political Issues and a certified election observer. Levan has co-led various local election observation missions for all general elections held in Georgia since 2012. In addition, Levan is the author, co-author, and director of dozens of studies and reports. At various times, Levan has provided consulting services to organizations such as the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and the Council of Europe (CoE).  

Levan is the recipient of several prestigious academic scholarship programs and holds a BA and MA in International Relations from Tbilisi State University, as well as a MA in Diplomacy and International Trade from the University of Kentucky. Levan is currently a visiting lecturer and a doctoral candidate in the Political Science Program at Ilia State University.
